just in time for fathers day

This Fathers Day, i wanted to do something cool for my dad and my grampa. My grampa was in the U.S. Navy. He's a strong loving man with a good heart. He takes care of his family. So for Fathers Day, I drew a portrait of him from his navy days. I used gray scale prisma color markers for this.


And for my dad, I drew him as his favorite Marvel superhero, "Blade". I also used the gray scale markers for this.

Batman, Legos, Movies

I love legos. I always have. I always will. I also love Batman. Im a huge fan of the comics and the animated series. The movies were also great. (excluding the films by Joel Schumacher. those god awfal wastes of film. Jakie Chan should be pissed at them for wasting all that film. Val Kilmer was a good "Batman" but not Bruce Wayne) Batman Begins was excellent!!! I can't wait for The Dark Knight. That will be great. Anyway, to get back on the subject at hand, I've recreated the tumbler from the new batman movies out of legos.

These are just a couple of sketches of a character i'm trying to develop. It just popped in my head one night and i like where its goin so far. Sorry for the poor pic quality. I don't have access to a scanner at the moment. I tried to make it look cleaner through photoshop.



i like this one, but it still needs more development.

the last color assignment

Let's see... For my last observational color assignment of the year, I chose do a couple self- portiats using acrylic paint on 7" x 11" illustration board. I used a warm and cool color scheme to convey my different emotions in the works. Personally, I like how the first one came out.
